Looking for Full Time Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00pm

What's your day like?

As a Medical Assistant at Foot & Ankle Specialists, you will be the heartbeat of our patient care experience Always exhibiting professional behavior and a warm smile, you'll help patients feel at ease during their visit. Your role involves rooming and interviewing patients, obtaining crucial X-ray images, and performing ABI tests. You'll assist physicians during procedures, send prescriptions, and handle necessary documentation like consent forms and DME dispensing forms. Preparing the clinic daily and ensuring medical equipment is maintained will be part of your exciting responsibilities.

You'll educate patients on medical queries, act as their advocate, and provide invaluable support to both patients and staff. If you're ready to thrive in an energetic environment and play a pivotal role in enhancing patient care, this position is your perfect opportunity

Requirements for this Medical Assistant job

To thrive as a Medical Assistant at Foot & Ankle Specialists, several key skills and qualifications are essential for success. A high school diploma is required, while 1-2 years of experience is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of medical software and tools is crucial for efficient patient documentation and communication.

Having a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is a plus, showcasing your commitment to excellence in patient care. You'll need physical stamina to stand for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ensuring you can assist patients effectively throughout their visit. Familiarity with personal protective equipment is essential for maintaining a safe medical environment.

Above all, strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor will help you build rapport with patients, creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our core values of problem-solving and integrity.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
