Founded in 1899, Austin Country Club is one of the oldest existing clubs in Texas and home to Harvey Penick, one of the greatest golf instructors who ever lived. As a private, family-oriented club that is rich in tradition, we are known for the quality of our membership and unmatched customer service that exceeds expectations. We are located along the banks of the Colorado River with Austin's iconic Pennybacker Bridge as our backdrop. ABOUT THE ROLE

Schedule: This is a full-time position with evening and weekend availability required.

As a Maintenance Technician, your day starts with reviewing service requests and prioritizing tasks. You troubleshoot and repair various systems, from electrical to plumbing, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our members. You conduct preventive maintenance inspections, meticulously document your work using our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and collaborate with team members to uphold our high safety standards. Your attention to detail ensures our facilities remain in top-notch condition, creating an exceptional experience for all who visit.

The Minimum Requirements to be Considered:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Knowledge of CMMS software
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and vendors
  • Proficiency in analyzing problems and finding effective solutions
  • Ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
