Description
The CRA Officer is responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act Compliance Program, which includes maintaining the Bank's compliance with laws and regulations that affect its operations, as well as collaborating with legal and regulatory colleagues on efforts at influencing lawmakers and regulators who establish the compliance requirements.
Manage all aspects of the CRA Programs, assist independent auditors and state and federal regulator inquiries; review and write CRA related policies and procedures including the CRA Program make recommendations to the SVP, Fair and Responsible Banking Manager, and Executive Management when appropriate; and submit reports to the committees and Board of Directors detailing Community Reinvestment Act status Track and monitor CRA lending goals and report results to the required Committees on an on-going basis. Maintain CRA data collection and reporting systems for CRA reporting. Prepare annual CRA assessment schedule Develop and monitor special lending programs for housing construction, purchase, rehabilitation, small and minority business development, and industrial development. Implement marketing and advertising programs to ensure market awareness of the products and services available to the community Work with staff to increase visibility in market areas by representing the company in various civic and community functions for the purpose of enhancing its image and developing new business Consult with management on the impact of decisions, policies and actions on CRA compliance status Develop and implement lending and deposit programs, products and services for low to moderate income customers; ensure the Bank meets the needs of the community it serves and attains CRA compliance goals; develops and responds to community concerns as they arise Manage the CRA activities and collaborate with the Community Development team to ensure compliance with banking regulations established as part of the Community Reinvestment Act. Seek partnerships, meet CRA goals, and conduct community outreach to communicate the institutions commitment to lend, invest and provide services to the Low to Moderate Income (LMI) community Analyze results from external and internal CRA audits. Prepare and assist with presenting reports with recommended courses of action and improvement to reporting and managing changes. Interface with management and personnel regarding implementing remediation and monitor corrective action. Coordinate CRA audits and exams with internal audit.Requirements:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do simple mathand carry out written instructions.] Travel to a variety of locations to perform work and/or attend meetings as required Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position Must be able to travel regularly from location to location Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30 lbs.
