Job Scope

The Director of FP&A is responsible for leading the financial analyses for our commercial business leaders, building revenue and commission reports to drive decision making and providing appropriate financial projections. They will work to integrate and align functions across the organization, including Marketing, Sales, and others to achieve revenue targets and profitability. They are a true partner within Finance and with our functional business leaders to ensure we are gathering, providing and assessing the appropriate information, as well as building sound budgets, forecasts, projections, business cases and KPIs to measure our performance against.

Responsibilities

Lead financial planning and reporting function for Commercial leaders Partner with leadership to develop regular financial plans, forecasts, bridges, variance analysis, and KPIs for Commercial functions Conduct analysis of financial risks and benefits on business initiatives, including formal business case and normal course decision making Establish strong relationships with business leaders and co-workers Work with direct reports to establish performance goals/objectives annually and monitor, advise on the progress to enhance their professional development Ensure financial systems are set up and being utilized to provide timely, consistent, and reliable financial data Implement process improvements in alignment with company and department strategic goals Develop and maintain financial models to forecast pricing and revenue performance and identify areas for improvement Conduct regular financial assessments and generate reports to be submitted to senior management team Respond to inquiries, prepare routine/ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed Collaborate with department supervisors to ensure efficient operation and support of company objectives

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Master’s preferred 10+ years’ financial management experience Strong analytical skills Experience creating financial revenue models, projections and reporting for a $300+ million revenue company Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems and enterprise resource systems Experience with SAP, Hyperion, OneStream, Planful or other equivalent planning tool required Ability to independently conduct research and exercise judgment when resolving issues Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally at all levels of management Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and use discretion under varying conditions Experience operating in multi entity structure, US and International
