This position does 90% MIG and 10% TIG welding. Benefits-Medical, Dental & Vision-Flexible Spending Account -Life & AD&D Insurance -PTO-11 Paid Holidays-(k)-Short Term Disability -Tuition Reimbursement Responsibilities of the WelderPerform MIG and TIG welding techniques to join metal componentsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirementsSet up welding equipment and select appropriate tools and materialsOperate power tools and hand tools to prepare surfaces for weldingAssemble fabricated metal parts using welding techniquesConduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet specificationsMaintain a clean and safe work environmentRequirements of the Welder:Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding techniquesProficient in using power tools and hand tools for metal preparationAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsBasic math skills for measurements and calculations Familiarity with press brake machines, calipers, and other measuring instrumentsKnowledge of sheet metal fabrication processExperience in building and assembling metal componentsUnderstanding of machining principles is a plusHigh School graduate or equivalent
