Overview
The Software area is responsible for the development of computer programming systems and applications including the design, coding, testing and deployment of products and solutions to meet firm obligations.
Responsibilities
Designs, develops and tests software applications for web-based provisioning and reporting systems and back-end applications. The developer will be responsible fo rworking with the Software Engineering manager and Business Development group to help develop applications and infrastructure. Experienced candidates must have experience designing and building enterprise class provisioning and/or reporting systems based on a Java technology stack .Responsible for requirements interpretation, detailed design specifications, coding, unit testing, and maintenance of software modules for both new and existing systems.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
Qualifications
0-1+ years of experience developing complex, reliable software systems based on Java. Expertise in JAVA (6.0 or above), JSPs, JDBC and OO Methodology. Expertise with Relational or Time Series Database design. Experience with IDE. Eclipse is preferred. Experience working on and developing software for Linux/Unix/Solaris platforms. Complete development life cycle experience from design through implementation. Creative, flexible, and able to fill multiple functions within a development team. Proven track record of successfully designing and developing enterprise class systems with stringent availability, performance and SLA requirements. Good verbal and written communication skills. BS in Computer Science or equivalent in related fieldsFor this role, we anticipate paying 75k-85k annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
