As a Manager of Infrastructure Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate & Investment Bank, you supervise team members while applying depth of knowledge within your specialization. Exercise independent judgement within defined parameters to solve problems and meet broad objectives.

Job responsibilities:

Anticipates the needs and potential dependencies of the immediate team Works with other teams to deliver projects in line with business requirements Provides immediate team with tasks, guidance, and expectations Identifies and escalates issues to execute according to compliance standards, risk and security, and service-level agreements Oversees work within an area of expertise within the infrastructure engineering discipline Applies relevant technical expertise, leadership, and business knowledge to projects of moderate scope Adds to the team’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Formal training or certification in UNIX Administration and leading complex infrastructure projects and 5+ years of applied experience Experience leading infrastructure engineering projects and team members Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or system performance assessments Proficient automation knowledge Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: Excellent communication skills to influence and drive the team to achieve higher goals.  Articulate the process and ensure the risk / hygiene / standard practices are followed by the team.  Good understanding about the financial business workflows and troubleshoot the complex issues to mitigate the issue.
