Job Summary:
The Cashier/Receptionist at Malloy Ford Charlottesville will serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
This individual will primarily be responsible for managing the front desk and performing cashier duties, but may also assist with various administrative tasks as needed.
This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, located in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking detailed messages as needed
- Process all payments and accurately balance cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining the service department's calendar
- Coordinate service loaner vehicles for customers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing documents
- Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive experience
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new computer systems
- Ability to multitask and handle high-volume phone calls and transactions
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
