Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Alpharetta, GA: Digital Sr. Development Engineer to design and develop digital software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices; and mentor junior team members. - Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in each of the following: Application, data and infrastructure architecture; Developing in programming languages, including Java, C#, or ASP.net; Front-end frameworks, including Angular, Angular JS, React, Amber, CSS, or JavaScript; Relational databases, including SQL Server, Cloud Datastores, or Oracle; CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Java/J2EE, REST API, Spring Core, or Spring Boot Framework; and Building and deploying services using Gradle or Maven.

Pay Range: $142002.00/year to $230000.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
