Job Title: Senior Pricebook and Rebate Specialist

Reports To: Director of Pricebook FLSA Status: Salary Exempt

Type of Position: Full Time Effective Date: 9/6/2024

Job Summary: This opportunity is for a Senior Pricebook & Rebate Specialist and will be a corporate staff position reporting to the Director of Pricebook. This role can be remote/field based. Responsible for the coordination, maintenance and administration of all activities involved in store setup, item setup, vendor costing, retail pricing, promotions and rebate activity in the Refuel PDI software. The Senior Pricebook & Rebate Specialist is highly cross functional with Operations, Merchandising, Accounting, and IT.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Human Resources

• Regular attendance, punctuality, adherence to the Company’s established policies and the team member handbook.

Pricebook Specialist

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Self-motivated to prioritize.

• Setup and authorize new items for sale in stores including item profile information, vendor cost and retail price.

• Maintain accurate item cost, retail, and promotional price on an ongoing basis in Pricebook while working with the category management team and vendors.

• Work with the Food Service group on new items and price set-up.

• Establishes and maintains rebate and incentive programs in the PDI systems based on contracts and promotions coordinating with vendors, merchandising and accounting ensuring accurately and timely accrual, invoicing (including any support documentation needed), and payments.

• Maintains PDI Enterprise MarketLink for cigarette and tobacco scan data reimbursement.

• Understanding of invoicing, collections and the ability to manage a Receivable Aging schedule in partnership with other departments.

• Identifies, researches, and resolves problems escalating issues as needed.

• Provide support to end users on a variety of Pricebook and Rebate issues.

• Complete special assignments as requested.

• Prepare reports and provide analytical support to the category management team as requested.

• Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Pricebook or Pricebook Manager.

• Excellent computer skills, utilizing all programs available to the department, including but not limited to PDI software, Microsoft Office including Excel, and web-based applications.

• Excellent understanding of Pricebook and Rebate management and/or associated reporting databases.

• Assists with training and providing guidance to other specialists when Pricebook Manager is unavailable.

• Knowledge of convenience store products and packaging.

• Ability to perform and complete multiple priorities, projects, and tasks with accuracy in a timely manner while working in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, to inside and outside sources and diverse groups at multiple levels.

• Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude.

• Superior attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-up.

• Must be a team player and self-motivated with a positive attitude.

Education and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in grocery, food service, or another retail business (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, or related field is preferred.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Advanced Excel skills are required.

• Data entry or retail inventory experience preferred.

Working environment and physical requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

Travel: Must be able to travel up to 10%.
