M Health Fairview Health Services has an immediate opening for a Patient Services Coordinator to support the Wyoming Lakes and Chisago Clinic locations.
This position is approved for 52 hours every two weeks (.65 FTE) and is benefits-eligible, SEIU union position.
The tentaitve scheudle for this opening is Monday 7AM - 3:30PM, Tuesday 8:30AM - 5PM, every other Thursday 7AM - 3:30PM, and Friday 7AM - 3:30PM.

The Patient Services Coordinator performs a variety of clerical functions to support the provider and patient care staff. The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible to notify the provider of any schedule changes, schedule patient appointments, ensure patient medical records and reports are available, and prepares applicable medical record forms. Relays messages to and from physicians, nurses, CMA’s and other resources necessary for patient care.
Job Expectations:
Coordinates activities of nursing station to support provider and patient care staff. Orders and maintains adequate stock of office supplies. Verifies provider schedules and notifies provider of add-ons, cancellations, no shows, etc. Performs telephone message taking and directs communication in a timely fashion. Requests/obtains patient reports as necessary. Effectively uses communication systems for both routine and emergency transactions. Calls in prescriptions-new/refills to appropriate pharmacy. Manages medical record flow. Requests/obtains medical records for patient visits, as needed. Locates and searches for medical records in nursing station. Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served. One year prior experience
