Kelly® is seeking an Assembly Technician to work at a premier manufacturing company in Charlotte, NC. 

$19 to $22 per hour based on experience 
MUST BE MECHANICALLY INCLINED


What’s a typical day as an Assembly/ Maintenance Tech? You’ll be:
• Successfully completing multiple objectives based on information received from the Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor.
• Working independently or with 1 or 2 others efficiently.
• Using blueprints/drawings to assemble components, paying attention to the details.
• Timely and effectively communicating with the Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor regarding issues that arise.
• Using a multi-meter to test equipment, fill out test reports, and file them accordingly.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment (lubrication and cleaning).
• Safely operating hand tools and cranes to move large equipment.
• Following all company policies and procedures.
• Assisting Field Service at job sites when needed.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience in assembling components/mechanic (3 years + in manufacturing preferred).
• Are able to read and use a tape measure.
• Have experience in job-shop fabrication (a plus).
• Have forklift experience moving large equipment (3 years preferred).
• Have a high sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Have strong communication skills, including the ability to negotiate positive outcomes.
• Are able to work effectively and efficiently with team members on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Are mechanically inclined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a logical thought process.
