Requirements:  Mechanical Engineer
  • US Citizenship
  • Our client requires that candidates must be able to obtain DoD Interim Secret Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience, or master's degree with 4-6 years of experience
  • Must have at least 6 years with the following:  Mechanical Engineer
* CREO modeling and Windchill database use.* They must also possess knowledge of documentation requirements and the use of Windchill PLM for a configuration management system.
* CCA/PWB design experience
* Creo Parametric 7.0
* Windchill 11.1
* Microsoft Office Products
* Adobe Acrobat
* Nuance/Kofax Power PDF.
 Requires proficiency in the following design areas:  Mechanical Engineer• Electro-mechanical design and packaging
• Cables
• Circuit Card/CCA design
• Break-out boxes
• Custom chassis
• Multi-bay test consoles
• Rack and stack
• Schematics (Mechanical, Electrical)
• Mechanical fixturing
• Production test equipment
• Complete drawings with dimensioning, views, balloons and notes
• Parts list creation and correlation with drawings
• Drawing lifecycle support capability
• Ability to work with vague\incomplete engineering input
• Well versed in ASME Y14.100 Drawing Standards, ASME Y14.5 GD& 
 Job Description:  Mechanical EngineerHardware electromechanical packaging design engineer will be responsible for the hardware development for the ATWS electronics and general packaging support for the ATWS Business area.
Activity will require cross functional coordination to complete hardware design effort to support integration efforts for ATWS product line.
Researches, develops, and designs component, equipment, and networks for military application. Electro-Mechanical Engineer for ATWS Effort.
- The ideal candidate will also have excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills.
- Candidate should be able to work with a diverse team of internal organizations, managing supplier inputs, and developing internal documentation.
- This effort requires ability to perform design trade studies evaluating cost, weight, packaging, power benefits.
- This effort will be fast-paced and will utilize a tailored PDP process to support a quick-turn circuit card redesign.
