  • The Cybersecurity Grant Writer will possess knowledge in cyber security and as a result, would be able to effectively articulate cybersecurity needs and goals through successful grant applications.
  • The Grant writer will be able to secure grants to fund critical cybersecurity projects, technologies, and resources, extend our reach to potential funders and grant opportunities, broadening our network and increasing our capacity to protect sensitive data and assets.
  • Strong research skills for identifying grant opportunities, understanding the requirements of various funding sources, and gathering data and statistics to support grant applications.
  • Ability to create and manage budgets for grant proposals, including estimating project costs, justifying expenses, and ensuring compliance with grant guidelines.
Experience Preferred 
  • 3 years effectively researching and submitting grant applications including crafting persuasive grant applications that clearly and compellingly communicate cybersecurity needs, objectives, and strategies to secure funding.
  • 3 years diversifying funding portfolios by identifying and applying for grants from a wide array of government agencies, private foundations, and corporate partners.
  • 3 years ensuring all grant proposals and applications adhere to relevant compliance requirements and cybersecurity industry standards.
  • 3 years establishing relationships with potential funders, collaborating with stakeholders and cybersecurity experts to strengthen grant applications.
  • 3 of successful grant applications in the past 5 years.
