 SERVICE PORTER

POSITION TITLE: AUTOMOBILE PORTER

DEPARTMENT: SERVICE

REPORTS TO: SERVICE MANAGER/PARTS MANAGER/SALES MANAGER

FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPT

PURPOSE:

The Automobile Porter does various duties as listed.

CORE DUTIES

• Give customers rides to their home and employer.
• Delivery & pickup of parts to customers, stores & vendors
• Turn in all paperwork, receipts, and cash each day
• Go on dealer trades.
  Must be able to do all paperwork involved.
  Responsible for inspecting both our vehicle and the unit we are receiving for perfect condition and missing equipment

OTHER DUTIES:

• Aggressively and cheerfully perform or ensure performance of any and all activities necessary to improve and maintain the highest possible Dealership Customer Satisfaction level.
• Miscellaneous pick-ups & deliveries.
• Any other duties needed by management
• Run errands as needed

• Attend company sponsored training

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a tolerance to normal shop noise(i.e.
  tools, equipt, cars etc)

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record & approved by Company insurance company for coverage
• Must be able to drive across surrounding states to pick up our vehicles.  
• Must be outgoing and able to give a good impression to customers.
• Must wear company supplied uniform if it is provided
