The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial door installation, repair, and maintenance. They will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the proper functioning of various types of commercial doors.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial doors, including but not limited to: overhead doors, roll-up doors, sliding doors, fire doors, and automatic doors.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with commercial doors and implement effective solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating moving parts, adjusting springs, and replacing worn components.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about door systems.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a commercial door technician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of commercial doors.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of door systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as needed.
  • AADM Certification is a bonus
