Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairs on injection molding equipment, robots, setups, changeovers, adjustments, maintenance, repair and operations of various types of assembly, subassembly, printing, and/or packaging machines. This is a high-speed and controlled manufacturing environment. Job Duties:
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions
  • Perform necessary preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Check and maintain quality of product being produced
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot any pneumatic, electrical or mechanical malfunction
  • Conduct TPM activities as required
  • Input Maintenance work orders into the Computerized Maintenance Management Software (SAP)
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on position required
  • Experience with injection molding required
  • Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting required
  • Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics required
  • Computer skills required, including Microsoft Office applications and SAP experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently from verbal and/or written instructions required
  • Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to use basic hand tools
  • Must have strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs with repetitive movements
  • Ability to push and pull items
  • Ability to stand and/or walk up to constantly during the shift
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders
