Chief Technologist

Job Overview:

The chief CT/XRAY technologist is responsible for the oversight of 2 CT machines and 6 XRAY machines in two locations within the ACC and 1 in the Prudential Center in Newark as well as pre-admission EKGs. This includes ensuring patient and employee safety, compliance with all regulatory bodies, maintenance of equipment, conducting employee training and competencies, communication and collaboration with radiologists and other departments in imaging, conduct annual performance appraisals, provide disciplinary action if necessary, lead staffing rounding and huddles. The chief CT/XRAY technologist also works with the Director of Imaging to track KPIs, order supplies, create and monitor staffing models to adjust for departmental needs, address EPIC WQs.

Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate from Radiology school. Minimum of three (3) years experience in supervisory position.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

ARRT Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider course completion status.
