Veterinary Assistant - Exam Room Advocate
Linwood Animal Clinic is looking to add an Exam Room Advocate to our team.
The responsibilities of an Exam Room Advocate center around assisting our DVMs in efficiently completing their daily appointment schedules. Specific tasks include warmly greeting and serving clients & patients, documenting a thorough patient history and assisting the DVMs in building an accurate medical record entry, restraining patients for physical exams and minor treatments, preparing appropriate vaccinations, preparing and cleaning exam rooms and hospital equipment as needed, accurately fill prescriptions, assisting with education and accurately relaying patient care recommendations & directions to their family members.

Linwood Animal Clinic is open Monday through Saturday 8am to 6pm, scheduled shifts start at 7:45am and end between 6:15 and 6:30pm. We are looking for someone to work 3-4 days including Saturdays.
Starting wage earned will be commensurate with relevant work experience as well as knowledge base and skill level; typically $17-20 per hour.
