Job Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES:
Under general supervision, preplans and executes or performs maintenance, construction and testing tasks in the electrical and instrument and controls area to maintain operations of the plant and systems. Performs common mechanical work consistent with training to maintain operation of the plant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must meet the Company's "General Requirements," and, in addition:

1. Must successfully complete the Nuclear Technician - Controls (2508) Modular Training Course and qualify on at least five (5) instrument and controls systems.

2. Must demonstrate:

a. The ability to follow detailed instructions and carry out complex assignments.

b. An aptitude for mechanical and technical work.

c. Keen faculties of observation.

3. Oral and written communication skills necessary for performance of the work.

4. Must have successfully completed the appropriate Pre-Employment Tests except that an employee hired prior to May 1, 1977 who has or obtains a high school diploma or its equivalent does not have to complete the Pre-Employment Tests.

5. Must be able to qualify for an auto driver's license to operate vehicles in the State of New Jersey.
