A well-established manufaturing company recognized for their work in the defense and aerospace industries is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Specialist to support growth for multiple key product lines. As an inside sales specialist, your primary responsibility is to drive new business interests with the US Navy‘s Surface and Underseas Combatants market segment, designing and producing and strategic initiatives through lead generation. You will collaborate closely with the sales director to translate strategic priorities into actionable lead-generation initiatives, utilizing Beta-SAM and related search engines. This role involves working with both the Sales and Marketing teams while organizing and executing critical lead-generation activities to further growth. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated sales specialist looking to further their career with a reputable manufacturing company that's been in the business for over fifty years.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 4 or more years of experience in a lead generation sales or sales support role
  • Minimum of 2 year’s experience with module electronics manufactured electronic products
  • Proficient in Salesforce. CRM software platforms
  • Ability to handle Salesforce data migrations
  • Experience utilizing Beta-Sam and orther government search engines is required
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field of study
  • Familiarity with lead generation techniques, lead management systems, and online marketing
  • Experience in a government contracting environment is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and execute lead generation activities utilizing governement search engines, email, social media, and cold-calling
  • Collaborate with the National Sales Director to translate priorities and campaign concepts into technical execution
  • Regularly update and maintain the Salesforce CRM database
  • Develop customer profiles/buyer personas, and perform strategic reach outs through email, website, social media, and cold-calling efforts 
  • Maintain documentation of lead generation activities, outcomes, and strategies
  • Generate regular reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement
  • Foster positive relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and ensuring a positive experience throughout the lead generation process
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record (travel occasionally to meetings, trade shows, conferences, etc.)
