Brennan's of Houston is searching for a dynamic, gregarious people-person to create and bring memorable experiences to life. Candidates should be passionate about delivering welcoming, "over-the-top" guest experiences. Southern hospitality is a plus, but it can be learned on the job. Private Parties have always been a large part of our business and range in size from four to four hundred in our multiple party rooms and entire restaurant for buyouts.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferred minimum of three years of experience in Hospitality Sales and Event planning
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Works well with a team and thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Experience in maintaining and building long-term client relationships
  • Excellent organizational skills, multitasking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to handle pressure and troubleshoot with warmth and grace
  • Proficient in event management software (preferably TripleSeat)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher)
  • Ability to learn new programs like Triple Seat, 7Rooms, and Toast
  • Flexibility with work schedule based on event bookings and seasonal business
  • Work efficiently and independently as well as a member of a team with a drive to succeed
  • Be flexible and eager to learn new things
  • Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest issues in a fast-paced environment
  • The Party Coordinator also handles some administrative duties mostly related to private events.

This is an hourly paid position plus additional compensation, employee meals, employee discount, 401K plan with company match, health benefits (medical, dental, vision), employee assistance programs including 24/7 access to mental health resources, vacation pay and sick pay. We are closed on Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, and Christmas Day.
