What You'll Do

Assign daily work assignments to maximize operations Work alongside employees in the performance of their duties Assist department in meeting safety, production, and quality goals Coordinate production activities with other departments Assist in the development of other employees including holding them accountable and providing performance feedback to the management team Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follow all safety policies and procedures Assist with the supervision of equipment and Yard Operator activities throughout shift Ensure area is maintained to be clean and maintain a safe working environment Monitor all operations of the Shears, mobile and fixed equipment Recommend improvements regarding conversion cost reductions or in any other way that makes improvement in the Yard Department Recommend improvements regarding safety, inventory accuracy, equipment preservation, and reduced non-value-added production time Recommend or refine recommendations for equipment, systems and process ideas that support continuous improvements

What You'll Need

Minimum 2 years maintaining environmental control systems Minimum 1 year leading teams preferred Able to clearly communicate expectations, issues and feedback Able to multitask and handle stress in a highly productive environment Demonstrated ability to assist in the manufacturing of quality products that consistently meet or exceed consumer receiving specifications Must be able to assist in problem solving in all areas of plant Must be able to problem solve in all areas of plant Must have an ability to ensure the safety of both the individual and customers is protected at all times

Your Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
