Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a Project Coordinator for electric line construction projects for our Efland, NC operation. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for working with the construction team to meet project goals in a timely and safe manner. The ideal candidate must be able to read blueprints, plan crew schedules, assist with estimating, coordinate scheduling, track progress quantities, and communicate with customers.
Responsibilities
Assists Project Manager with tracking progress quantities required to meet project goals
Performs pre-construction site visits to estimate unit counts, identify possible obstacles and provide general reconnaissance to Project Manager and Supervisor about upcoming jobs
Ensures accuracy of timesheets and expense reports
Reconciles completed units against Project Schedule and provides feedback to Project Management and Supervisor
Monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures
Reports, tracks, and coordinates all aspects of a project
May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance
Requirements & Qualifications
Working understanding of electrical distribution systems
Demonstrated experience in project coordination / project management
Must have previous experience working with blueprints, and specifications
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Competency in Microsoft applications including Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to travel within the state of North Carolina
