Position Description

WHAT DO PORTERS DO?

Janitors/ Housekeepers will do a bit of everything to keep businesses running cleanly and smoothly. They make sure that all areas of the buildings are neat, clean, free from clutter and safe. Janitors/ Housekeepers spend their days picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms. In addition, Janitors/ Housekeepers might run errands, deliver items, move stock, or anything else that their supervisor might need.

Full and Part time positions available.

Requirements:
•Must be energetic, outgoing, and be able to relate well to co-workers and patrons.
•Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time.
•May require some lifting (under 40 lbs.), standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
•Exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and weather. Working outside in some cases.
•Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
