In this rewarding role, you will provide assistance and support to children and adults with mental or cognitive impairments, as well as individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). No prior experience is necessary as we offer comprehensive training to all team members. Plus, our caregivers enjoy earning 18.67% more per hour than the average caregiver rate in Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients with serious emotional disturbances and IDD in daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  2. Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment for clients.
  3. Aid in daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
  4. Maintain a safe environment for clients and promptly report any changes in their condition.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent.
Compassion and empathy towards individuals with special needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
