POSITION PURPOSE: 

To ensure all restaurant dishes, pots and pans, are cleaned in a fast and consistent manner. Assists the supervisor and cooks in the day to day operations and maintenance of the culinary department. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Clean all restaurant and kitchen equipment in an orderly and consistent manner. Maintains a clean and safe work area as directed by industry standards. Assists in receiving and putting away stock as it is received. Ensures that the cooks line and front of the house are stocked with china, serving utensils, and all other needed supplies. Responsible for maintaining good safety practices through out the culinary department, as well as proper emergency and safety procedures. Maintains proper and professional relations with all staff members. Remain current on all policies and procedures. Carry out and complete assignments given by the supervisor on a daily basis. Assists cooks in prep work. May perform other special projects as requested. Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.  Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred. 1 year of experience in general work with some work in a restaurant preferred. Able to read and comprehend written instructions. Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks. Excellent service approach when dealing with guests. Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License. Current Food Handler Certificate required. Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available).  Salary Description $15.00/hour
