Overview

We are seeking an experienced OSP Engineer to support our network transformation initiatives, including IoT, 5G, and smart cities development. As an OSP Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining our unified network infrastructure designed for future growth across all business lines.

Limited travel required Key Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and construction activities for OSP network infrastructure
• Lead large-scale projects utilizing vendor resources
• Coordinate with contractors, developers, municipalities, and consultants
• Develop cost analyses, project specifications, and business justifications
• Process reports, vendor invoices, and material receipts
• Respond to network outages and coordinate restoration efforts
• Design and implement network infrastructure solutions
• Prepare route mapping and spend forecasts

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of 3GIS or GIS experience
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles in OSP
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Visio, AutoCAD, Microstation, Google Earth, and GIS
• Understanding of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition

Preferred Qualifications

• Fiber Optic cable design for ODN-GPON network
• Inside Plant knowledge of Transport equipment
• Experience with engineering systems and databases

Working Conditions

• Regular 40-hour work week
• Occasional evening/weekend work as needed
• Local area coverage
• Independent work environment with minimal supervision
