Overview:
Benelux Medical Staff a leading staffing agency is searching for a dedicated Wound Care, Nursing Administration Nurse for a Full-time position in Beaumont, Texas. Join our team and contribute to promoting healing and well-being by providing expert care to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients with wounds, ulcers, and other skin conditions to determine appropriate care interventions and treatment plans.
- Develop individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments, patient needs, and physician recommendations.
- Implement evidence-based wound care protocols and treatment modalities to promote wound healing and prevent complications.
- Coordinate wound care services and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, physical therapists, and wound care specialists.
- Monitor and evaluate patient response to wound care interventions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and self-care practices.
- Document all wound assessments, treatments, and patient education activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and best practices in wound care management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects related to wound care and skin integrity.
- Stay updated on advances in wound care technology, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices through continuing education and professional development activities.

- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- RN License in state of employment or compact
