Summary

Care delivery and coordination of patient and family care begins with the initial contact with the healthcare system and may continue across the continuum. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred with completion of business, secretarial school, or medical office assistant training. License/Certifications: N/A Experience:  2-4 years billing, insurance, or office experience preferably in the healthcare environment.

Excellent customer service skills.

Working knowledge of medical terminology and/or medical billing insurance.

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Excellent accuracy, organization, and prioritization skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with licensed skilled professionals, leaders, other department staff, and external customers. Able to assemble and maintain accurate records and documents using a computer and preparing data in report form- excel and word proficient.
