Lewiston, United States Androscoggin Bank Full time

Job Details

Description

At the crossroads of technology and relationships... sits the Help Desk.

In this role you'll provide internal Tier I support resolving questions about hardware, software, and networking, including our internal network and our core banking system (FISERV). You’ll install and upgrade software, install hardware, and configure systems and applications. This is a VERY compliance-driven, security-conscious environment

You’ll also track incoming electronic tickets for the department – prioritizing, scheduling resolving, and/or escalating them to the appropriate technician. There’s so much more for you, too. You’d also get to track SLA performance statistics, inventory management, and report on other IT Department’s metrics. Plenty of team and project work, both major and minor.

That all sounds really….TECHNICAL, and it is. And, we want to talk to you if you have the experience and ability to manage all that technical work from a place of good humor, confidence, and relationship value. Our IT professionals know, and impact, every single person at the Bank and are vital to our mission of providing the best client service around.

Working at Androscoggin Bank means that you’ll make a real difference in a solid, local and growing company that is committed to supporting Maine’s communities. You’ll have access to excellent, industry-leading benefits including paid parental leave, paid volunteer time, tuition reimbursement and more. You’d have the opportunity for both personal and professional development – we won’t let you get stagnant

Do you wish you could be more involved and connected in your company, beyond the level of your department? Androscoggin Bank offers that to you. Project teams, committees, events, in-house education, and more. It’s an amazing place to work.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of FISERV core banking or other bank software and systems preferred Knowledge of bank processes and procedures preferred

This is a 40 hour a week, full time position, Monday-Friday. It also requires being on-call rotating Saturday mornings from 8-1. The position is located in our operations center in Lewiston, where something is nearly always going on.

Benefits

This position carries great benefits, including paid time off, holiday pay, 401k participation with a generous match (we put money in your 401k even if you don't), and access to Androscoggin Bank's full insurance benefit package (medical, dental, vision, life, and disability). Androscoggin Bank offers paid parental leave to our employees, which grants new mothers and fathers six weeks of full pay We also provide paid volunteer time to all employees.

Hoping you could advance your career and your education? We can help. Androscoggin Bank is committed to supporting employee development, and employee benefits include tuition and education reimbursement.

Do you wish you could be more involved and connected in your company, beyond the level of your department? Androscoggin Bank offers that to you. Project teams, committees, events, in-house education, and more. It’s an amazing place to work.

And, you get to work with some of the smartest, most dedicated, heart-felt people you will ever meet

We are so proud that Androscoggin Bank recently achieved B Corp Certification. This means we’ll continue to use profit to power our purpose, rather than serving as the purpose itself. We’ll serve the best interests of our clients, our employees and our communities, while also honoring our environment.
