Operating Room RN

The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for immediately assessing each individual patient upon admission to OR addressing biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self care, educational, discharge planning factors and significant other/family support as appropriate.

Assesses and reassess patients on an ongoing basis, identifying patient needs/problems, nursing interventions. Develops individualized plans of nursing care for patients in the intraoperative setting and which meets the identified needs of each patient

Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

Graduation from accredited School of Nursing. Current unencumbered North Carolina RN License. BLS certification upon hire ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire. 

Experience:

1-2 years of clinical experience in the Operating room is required
