Job Description

The Digital Programmatic Strategist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing programmatic media strategies in accordance with campaign objectives and targeting strategy. Additionally, this position will collaborate across the broader digital team to uncover new opportunities, including partnerships, technology platforms, training, and overall processes to assist in driving our digital offerings forward.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing client campaigns from inception, activation and ongoing optimizations and management
  • Work with internal and external teams with developing and evolving client strategies
  • Act as SME for client relative to programmatic and digital strategy
  • Ongoing support of seeking and evaluating new capabilities and partners to help further evolve our agencies offerings
  • Assist in internal and external education of programmatic capabilities
  • Help in continuing to foster a "one-team" mindset, and willingness to help team members where needed

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of working experience utilizing Real-Time Bidding technologies (DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, Amazon, Ad Exchanges, SSPs) is a must.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing holistic client campaigns across various tactics such as CTV/OTT, OLV, Native, DOOH, High Impact and Display.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently research and develop custom strategies to optimize clients' key performance indicators (KPIs) and achieve business objectives.
  • Have a proactive mindset monitoring insights and implementing continuous optimizations during campaign flights to enhance performance and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience producing and presenting power point presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge and passion for digital media and advertising landscape.
  • Prior experience with managing strategic campaigns within YouTube a plus.
  • Understanding current and emerging technologies, business models, ad products, and industry standard metrics and policies.
  • Ad trafficking experience, particularly utilizing platforms such as Google Campaign Manager (DCM)
  • HTML/CSS/Java experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and technical aptitude including Microsoft Excel and math proficiency
  • Ability to think proactively, maintain a high level of productivity, and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Intelligent, entrepreneurial type with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to jump in, as needed, beyond typical job scope in order to help meet client and agency needs
  • Ability to pivot and adapt to changes as they come. Be nimble and flexible.

Our office is located in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, our local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates from outside the local area who are able to work during our core East Coast office hours, 8:30am-5:30pm Eastern, are encouraged to apply. Our team working remotely is invited to the office a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party. Other team or client meetings may be scheduled at other times during the year.
