Essential Duties and Responsibilities

: Digital and analog hardware circuit design. Design maintenance/modification/optimization across a product life time. Performs dimensional tolerances checks and stack-up analysis.  Develops and changes bill of materials (BOMs) as required.  Performs product testing as required.  Assists in checking mechanical drawings and BOMs for accuracy and/or ECO approval.  Assists in the engineering lab as required to complete validate testing.  Assists in the development of product technical manuals and sales literature.  Perform and present gated design reviews with both internal staff, as well as with customers at specific times in the design lifecycle of components. Other essential duties may be assigned as required. 

 
Desired Characteristics:

Schematic and layout tools (Altium Designer or similar). Knowledge of complete hardware electronics product life cycle, from concept to production. FPGA coding capability using VHDL or Verilog is a plus. Knowledge of Python/Perl for automatic product testing, data collection and analysis is an advantage. Experience in using lab equipment like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, thermal chamber, power supply etc. Excellent communication skills in verbal and written.
