Albuquerque, Las Vegas, Los Lunas, and Santa Fe

We're hiring Paramedics that will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care. Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given. Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMS Providers.Other Responsibilities:
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) New Mexico State Paramedic Certification State Driver's License BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic Driving record compliant with company policy Pass the Physical Agility Test Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
Our Benefits

TELEMEDICINE - GMR provides a telemedicine benefit through Teladoc for our employees and their dependents. Teladoc offers convenient phone and video care for many medical conditions for a low, fixed copay.
DENTAL - We offer two dental plans, including a plan that covers orthodontics.
SURVIVOR BENEFITS - GMR provides company paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance. In addition, we offer an option to buy additional coverage for you, your spouse and your children at affordable rates.
INCOME PROTECTION - We offer company paid short-term and long-term disability insurance to protect a portion of your income in case of disability or extended illness.
VOLUNTARY BENEFIT OPTIONS - We offer a variety of other optional benefits including financial wellness services, legal coverage, identity theft protection and more.
The benefits listed apply to most core non-union positions. Union position benefits are dictated by their specific Collective Bargaining Agreement.
