Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement strategic plans, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives. Provide leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in geotechnical engineering and materials testing. Provide technical guidance and support to the team, reviewing project designs and reports.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure accurate and reliable testing results. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the division's budget, monitoring financial performance and profitability. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency.

Safety and Compliance:

Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all projects are conducted safely and in compliance with safety regulations. Oversee the development and implementation of safety protocols.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in special inspections, geotechnical engineering, and/or materials testing with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
• Excellent business acumen, including business development and financial management skills.
• Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
