Zurich is currently hiring an Accounting Clerk to join their Finance Operations team The position is an office-based role to be located at the Zurich office in Schaumburg, IL.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Processing, depositing and coding physical checks Research and reconciliation of historical outstanding balances in the general ledger related to check processing Collaborate across functions to resolve coding requirements and bring issues to resolution. Report and route undeliverable mail to various teams and assist in resolving missing or inaccurate addresses. Responsible for recording and updating logs Reconciliation responsibilities will be assigned as needed

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Clerical area

OR

Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and No prior experience required in the clerical area

Preferred Qualifications:

Clerical experience related to accounting/finance in an office setting. Basic Microsoft Office skills Must have excellent written and communication skills
