Position Responsibilities

Double checks remittances for accuracy before posting Researches unidentified payment prior to posting daily Posts over the counter transactions, reversals advices, and/or corrections Posts contracts/vendors payments Posts transfers and refunds Proofreads batch report to verify all posted entries are accurate before approving the batches Corrects inaccuracies before approving batch Posts payroll deductions Posts exceptions left out of the electronic posting files Prepares posting summary for the cashier department Revises, corrects, and updates patient's accounts

Qualifications:

High School graduate or equivalent level of training. One year prior hospital/Business Office experience preferred
