The Program

Mallinckrodt is offering a 10-12-week internship program, which provides an immersive experience in the world of pharmaceuticals. As an MNK Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful and impactful work that compliments the degree you are pursuing. Here, you will be able to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to a corporate environment. In addition, our internship program is designed to include networking opportunities across the company, professional development workshops, and community service.

Summary of Position

Under the guidance of the Senior Director, Global Clinical Quality Assurance, the Global Clinical Quality (GCQ) Intern will assist with the management, transparency and oversight of GCQ-related activities (e.g., implementation of tools supporting execution of quality-related activities and dissemination of related information in a timely manner to responsible colleagues across the organization).

Responsibilities

Support implementation of processes to enable efficient and effective use of software for management of quality related activities

Disseminates quality-related information to responsible management and cross-functional operational levels

Development of relationships with cross-functional colleagues to be recognized as a resource for escalation of potential GCP compliance concerns

Supports inspection readiness efforts as needed

Minimum Requirements 

Education / Experience / Skills:

Science background

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Good communication skills

Relationship with Others/Scope of Position 

This role will report into the Head and partner with others within the function. There will be opportunities for this role to discuss clinical research topics across the organization.
