We are looking for a highly motivated QA Technician candidate. This is an entry level position and will report to a group leader in charge of product development. This individual will have broad responsibility working with other product developers, Operations, Product Management, and R&D to evaluate new and current products.

About the Role

Responsibilities:

This position is technically challenging and requires the ability to work well independently. The successful candidate is expected to accurately perform physical testing, follow detailed technical instructions with minimal supervision, and record and manage data using spreadsheets and databases. You will work closely with our existing team of technical professionals, customers, management, manufacturing, and technical support staff throughout the country. The successful candidate will focus on processing Customer Complaint Test requests and assuring product quality performance. They will have excellent problem-solving skills. Other duties as requested.

About You

We Require:

High School graduate with Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics Lab experience.

Achieving or progressing towards an A.A. or B.S. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related degree is preferred.

1-3 years’ experience in a wet chemistry lab is preferred.

Managing and maintaining lab equipment is a plus.

Well organized and highly motivated to perform effectively with minimal supervision.

Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with experience in quality auditing, color measurement and assessment, and/or continuous improvement activities.

We will train you in our materials technology and offer the opportunity for growth as part of the Custom® R&D Center.
