HANDY PERSON –  HAMPSHIRE

Pay rate: Up to £11.45 per hour (plus Bank Holiday and Qualification enhancements available)

Contracted Hours:  21 hours per week, Mon-Fri (including bank holidays)

Shift Pattern: Between 7am-6pm flexible

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Handy Person, you'll work closely with the Regional Maintenance Manager to make sure our sites are well taken care of, prioritising jobs as you go. Ensure that all work being undertaken is done so with as little disruption as possible to children and colleagues. Working with site Managers in respect to how and when job to be carried out and advising the site manager once completed. You'll be there to support the Regional Maintenance Manager with various projects and keep an eye out for repairs and upgrades needed around the nurseries.

About you

Forward thinking Good at building working relationships Good communication & organisational skills Self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic Adaptable Knowledge and experience of maintenance works preferred but not essential. Full clean driving license Relevant qualification within maintenance field desirable but not essential. GCSE grade C or above in English & Maths preferred but not essential

All candidates will be required to have an enhanced DBS which is on the update service. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks. This role involves regulated activity with children. You should not apply if you are on the Childrens’ Barred List.
