Position Information

The Office of Auxiliary Enterprises invites applications for a full-time, nonexempt, position with benefits. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary range is $33, – $45, Responsibilities Organize and Process Financial Transactions: Keying data, sorting documents, and processing digital and cash transactions.Prepare Month-End Reports: Reconcile transaction, budget, and expense reports for monthly reporting. Analyze reports to present information to accountants or other financial professionals within the organization.Maintain Financial Filing Systems: Oversee and update these systems as necessary to streamline companies’ financial processes.Manage Accounts Payable: Submit and file invoices and track the status of each account.Assist with Clerical and Administrative Tasks: Assist with answering phones, organizing mail, and ordering office supplies.Customer Service Tasks: Assist students, issue Student ID’s with the Hawk Center window, and switchboard coverage. Performs other related duties as assigned,For a complete job description, visit Classification 13- Business and Financial Operations Occupations Required Qualifications High school diploma or GEDMust be able to read, spell accurately, and write legibly. Must be able to operate manual and automated office equipment. Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective work relationships.Ability to perform arithmetic computations.Must have the ability to handle large sums of money and be able to lift at 50lbs. Experience with personal computers and software to include Excel and Word documents.  Preferred Qualifications One year of experience handling money.  Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Accounting: Must have a solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable, coding, and transactional accounting.Financial Reporting: Process and organize financial information, such as invoices, payments, and balance sheets, and create reports from this data to assist accounting departments and financial decision-makers.Data Management: Work with financial information and must know how to organize, process, and make sense of data. Must be proficient in using digital data management tools.Computing: Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, and email tools to perform tasks. Understand how the effective use of computer applications and software help complete tasks efficiently.Multitasking: Able to perform multiple duties within a given period while remaining organized and managing time effectively.Communication: Interact through various methods, including phone, email, and face-to-face, making oral and written communication skills equally important.Teamwork: Must work well in teams, thrive on team culture, and understand the importance of each role in the office.Willingness to Learn: An eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to changes Certifications/Registrations N/A
