Job Duties:
  • The assistant Nurse Manager, in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, plans, organizes, directs and actively participates in the nursing care of patients,
  • Works with the multi-disciplinary team to manage the day-to-day operations of the service.
  • Problem solving, coordination of assignments and patient placement, staffing, CI activities, facilitation of staff competency, validation and performance monitoring.
  • Acts as a role model and a mentor to staff.

Education/Experience:
  • RN
  • BSN required
  • 3 years relevant clinical experience required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
  • BLS certification
  • Certification in specialty area preferred.
