Use your analytical skills to identify opportunities to improve our customer’s experience.

As a Quant Analytics Sr Associate on the Decision Sciences Team, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders in the Home Lending division in formulating quantifiable goals and developing strategies and experimentation to achieve these goals. You will lead execution of KPIs, trend analysis, dashboards and analyses including segmentations, optimizations and other techniques to improve business function performance. This position requires a mix of strategy, business analysis and data science skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Synthesize data from a number of different sources to identify meaningful trends and patterns that will help mortgage operations improve the overall customer experience Work closely with business partners to help identify opportunities to improve operations and employee efficiency Use advanced data discovery and data mining tools to reveal relationships and trends in the data providing new insights into behaviors Convert data to actionable insights and leverage data visualization tools to effectively tell a story Extract data from various sources using SQL queries Work directly with business partners across multiple channels to evaluate needs, develop end-to-end solutions, and implement those solutions within budget, control requirements, and SLAs Collaborate with IT groups to design infrastructure

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or related field 2 years of experience in an advanced analytics role Excellent SQL knowledge, including complex queries, stored procedures, etc Experience with relational databases and query optimization to pull and summarize large datasets with focus on efficiency and reducing server impacts Capable of defining metrics, evaluating results, drawing conclusions and insights to design and recommend system or process improvements Critical and analytical thinking with a data-oriented mindset Ability to develop advanced data visualization and presentations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Critical and analytical thinking with a data-oriented mindset Excellent story-telling capabilities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Advanced analytics experience, with preferred knowledge in one or more of these tools: SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Alteryx Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology or finance Master’s degree in related field Experience in Mortgage Banking Previous modelling/forecasting experience (time series, regression, classification)

Hybrid-60% in-office
