POSITION TITLE:

Special Education Supervisor

REPORTS TO:

Assistant Superintendent for Special Education

LOCATION:

Clare-Gladwin RESD, 4041 E. Mannsiding Rd, Clare, MI

WORK SCHEDULE:

11-Month Administrative Contract

STARTING DATE:

August 5, 2024

JOB OBJECTIVE:

Responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of activities and planning to meet State and Federal mandates, and to assist the Assistant Superintendent for Special Education with data collection, compilation, preparation and submission of required reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Master’s Degree or higher with full approval in at least one area of Special Education. Minimum of three (3) years of successful related experience in special education, classroom teaching experience preferred. Certified and approved by the State of Michigan Department of Education under rule 340.1772 of the Michigan Special Education Administrative Rules.
