Mayfield Spine Surgery Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care and service-oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pain Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Pain Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth surgical operations.
Pain Care Coordinator at Mayfield Spine Surgery Center
Procedural Pain Care Coordinator uses a strong working knowledge of the specialty care standards and core competencies to provide oversight of care plans for patients in accordance with PM&R standards of practice and provider orders. Collaborates with patients, providers, clinical nursing staff and facility personnel, including but not limited to USPI team members and partnering clinical office staff to ensure high-quality care for patients.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Procedural Pain setting.
- Current Ohio Nursing License.
- Current BLS
- Current ACLS
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good organization habits.
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to pain management procedure
- Excellent teaching skills.
- Basic knowledge of continuous quality improvement ideology.
- Ability to perform the duties of the Pain Department Registered Nursing Staff including but not limited to Pre-Procedure, Procedure Room, Post-Procedure and Charge Role.
