Description: We are seeking two dedicated individuals to join our team as Paraprofessionals in our middle school special education classroom. The position will involve a mix of working 1:1 with a student, as well as providing support to the Lead Teacher. Previous experience working with children is required.

Pay Range: $22-$25 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 with a middle school student, providing academic and behavioral support
  • Assist Lead Teacher with classroom activities and lesson planning
  • Provide support to students with special needs during classroom instruction
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in a classroom setting
  • Knowledge of educational strategies for students with special needs is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff
