Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various types of heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and more. If you have a passion for construction and a dedication to safety and precision, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and job specifications.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction team members.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
  • Perform site preparation tasks including grading, trenching, and excavating.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and job progress.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
