For over thirty years, this company has focused on solving customers’ problems and putting people at the heart of their business.ResponsibilitiesFabricate and shape parts such as tools and machine parts out of metalMachine set-up and troubleshooting experienceConfer with engineers, production supervisor, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problemsMaintain daily machine and equipment cleanliness along with appropriate preventative maintenance standardsRespond to work order requests in a timely fashionWork in a team environment to meet production goalsSelect, align, secure, and remove holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials into machinesRecognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures and toolingEvaluate, change, or modify to setup jobsComply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructionsComplete other duties as assigned by the supervisorExperience and EducationHigh School Diploma or GED2+ years of machinist work(Preferred) CNC, wire EDM, and CAD knowledgeRequirementsProficient in operation of all types of manual machine shop equipment (lathes, mills, drill press, etc.)Vast knowledge of reading and making parts from prints and be able to use all measuring tools and instrumentsHave proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsMust have a high level of confidence in machining abilityHave great communication skillsUtilize and abide by the ISO requirements and safety proceduresHave a positive attitude towards co-workersBe able to bend, reach, stoop, and have general agilityHave a clean criminal record and clean drug screenBe able to manage time and priorities wellWork well with others and individuallyWear PPE including steel toed bootsHave a strong attention to detailBe able to lift and move 50 poundsLocation: Fitzgerald, GeorgiaPay Rate: $14.00 / HourSchedule: 12 hour rotating shiftsNew Hire Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.We Are On A Mission:We seek to be a resource that bridges the gap between the needs of the employer and the job seeker by providing personalized service for each client.
