Full Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: 

We are looking to hire a skilled Carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. You will be responsible for layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client's requirements. A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have good communication and organizational skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints

- Perform tasks on all areas and aspects of construction projects

- Coordinate with Project Manager for material needed to complete work

- Must be able to lay-out, measure, plan, and execute work activities

- Typical types of work will include: wood framing, drywall hanging and taping, hanging doors, demolition, siding, interior and exterior trim work, cabinet installation

- May be asked to do material take-offs to assist with estimating and material ordering

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

- High school diploma or GED

- Must have completed an apprenticeship in carpentry or have 3-years equivalent experience in the field.

- Must demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to work as a member of a team
